Things are moving at Monolith

I wanted to take a moment to thank Matt Saarima for all his hard work this past couple of weeks.  Matt works in our Inside Sales organization.  He’s always been willing to throw in a helping hand.  In this case it was his whole body, which I fear might be a little sore from setting up the office space cubicles.

Monolith recently celebrated our four year anniversary as Monolith Software.  Prior to that we existed as Monolith Technology Services – a consulting company.  We have seen a lot of change and expansion in those four years.  One of the things you might not know about Monolith is the fact that we are an entirely self-funded organization.  We have not taken any outside funding.  I view this as a big competitive advantage and a unique differentiator in the market.  This has caused us to be very thoughtful of where and how we spend our money, which ties in nicely to this blog’s opening statements.

Monolith recently expanded our office space – again.  In the course of four years we have expanded the office space, along with the personnel, on four separate occasions.  Our current address is our third physical location.  Fortunately this last expansion did not require a physical relocation.  We were able to increase our square footage in our existing complex.  Thanks to Matt’s hard work the new space is looking great.  Feel free to stop by and visit if you are ever in the Chicagoland area.
